Guitar Shop Near Me — Capital Region & Adirondacks

Paul's Guitar Hideout is in Glens Falls, NY, inside The Shirt Factory at 71 Lawrence St., Suite 201B. It's the only dedicated guitar shop in Glens Falls itself. The shop serves players across the Capital Region, Warren County, Washington County, and the broader Adirondack region. Wednesday through Sunday, 12 to 5pm. Every brand we carry is on our brands page.

How Far People Drive

Most of the regular traffic comes from within fifteen minutes: Glens Falls, Queensbury, Hudson Falls, Fort Edward, Lake George. Setups, lessons, Saturday afternoon walk-ins.

Saratoga and the rest of Warren and Washington counties are twenty to forty minutes out. Those folks usually come for something specific: to play a Martin before they buy it, drop off a repair, or start lessons with Travis.

From the Adirondack Park, Albany, or further out in the Capital Region, it's forty-five minutes to two hours. Camp owners come down at the start and end of the season because the climate up there is hard on guitars. Albany players make the drive because there aren't many shops left with a real used wall and repairs done in-house.

Where We Are

We're on the second floor of The Shirt Factory in Glens Falls. The building went up in 1902 as a men's shirt factory and made shirts until 1996. Today it's home to more than 70 studios, shops and galleries, and now a guitar shop. Use the Cooper Street entrance and take the stairs up. If stairs are difficult or you're bringing in something you don't want to carry up, call or text us and we'll arrange access.
