From the Wall: The Neo-D Humbucking Pickup

The Neo-D is the pickup for a guitar you don't want to drill: it clamps into the soundhole, plugs straight into an amp, and runs passive with no battery. Fishman built it on the same neodymium magnet structure as its Rare Earth pickup, and the humbucking version is the one Fishman describes as warm and full. It fits soundholes as small as 3-7/8 inches, and it comes back out the same way it went in.

Where We Are

We're on the second floor of The Shirt Factory in Glens Falls, one of the more interesting buildings in the region. It's a converted 1902 shirt mill that's become a hub for artists, makers, craftspeople, and independent businesses. Painters, photographers, woodworkers, jewelers, and now a guitar shop. The building has a creative energy that fits what we do. Use the Cooper Street entrance and take the stairs up. If stairs are difficult or you're bringing in something you don't want to carry up, call or text us and we'll arrange access.

The Drive

Hudson Falls is right next door to the east, over the line in Washington County: a village with a green in the middle of its business district and the Feeder Canal trail running through it. Fort Edward is down Route 4 from there, the county seat, where the Champlain Canal comes into the Hudson and the train still stops.

About 5 minutes over the Hudson. Park in the Cooper Street lot at The Shirt Factory.
