Where We Are
We're on the second floor of The Shirt Factory in Glens Falls, one of the more interesting buildings in the region. It's a converted 1902 shirt mill that's become a hub for artists, makers, craftspeople, and independent businesses. Painters, photographers, woodworkers, jewelers, and now a guitar shop. The building has a creative energy that fits what we do. Use the Cooper Street entrance and take the stairs up. If stairs are difficult or you're bringing in something you don't want to carry up, call or text us and we'll arrange access.
Capos We Stock
Dunlop, Ernie Ball, and Martin. A capo that clamps unevenly pulls the strings out of tune the moment you put it on, so it's worth trying one on your own guitar. Bring it in and test before you buy.
Banjo Players
A regular capo handles the first four strings. For the fifth, we install railroad spikes at the frets you choose, $39. Details on the repair and setup pricing page.
Straps We Stock
Ernie Ball, Fender, and Martin: nylon and cotton at the everyday end, suede and full leather at the top. A strap is the one accessory you should try on with your own guitar, because a heavy guitar on a thin strap and a light guitar on a wide leather one both feel wrong within a set. Bring the guitar and put it on your shoulder.
Strap Buttons and Locks
Acoustics that came without a second strap button, buttons that have worked loose, or a switch to strap locks: we handle all three at the shop. Strap-button or strap-lock install is $39. Doweling and re-drilling a loose button is $59. Both are on the repair and setup pricing page. Service is first come, first served. Need it back by a certain date?
