Guitar Shop Near Hudson Falls and Fort Edward, NY

Paul's Guitar Hideout is in Glens Falls, about 5–10 minutes from Hudson Falls and Fort Edward. Used guitars, repairs, setups, and lessons.

Where We Are

We're on the second floor of The Shirt Factory in Glens Falls, one of the more interesting buildings in the region. It's a converted 19th century textile mill that's become a hub for artists, makers, craftspeople, and independent businesses. Painters, photographers, woodworkers, jewelers, and now a guitar shop. The building has a creative energy that fits what we do. Use the Cooper Street entrance and take the stairs up. If you need assistance, give us a call and we'll come down.

What We Do

Used electric guitars, acoustics, and basses on the floor. New Fender and Martin as authorized dealer for both. Guitar repair and setups in-house. Lessons taught in person by Travis Gray.

Everything in one place. No appointment needed to come in and look around or drop off a repair. First guitar? How to choose your first guitar.

Repairs and Setups

Players from Hudson Falls and Fort Edward bring guitars in regularly — it's a short drive. Common things that come in: guitars that haven't been set up in years, fret buzz that won't go away, electronics cutting out, acoustics that have been through dry winters without humidity control.

We look at it with you, explain what it needs, give you a number before we start. A standard setup is $79. Most guitars that haven't been touched since they were bought need one. More: what is fret buzz and how to fix it.

Guitar Lessons

Travis Gray of Wild Adriatic fame teaches here. Reach out through the contact page to book. Full background on his instructor page.

Buy, Sell and Trade

If you have a guitar to sell or trade, bring it in. We'll take a look at it in person.
