Shipping Policy
We use flat-rate shipping based on the item and its value. The rate shown at checkout is the rate you pay unless an unusual shipment requires additional handling or insurance.
Shipping Rates
- Guitars and basses: $79
- Orders $2,000–$2,999: $99
- Orders $3,000 and up: $119
- Amps: $49
- Tube amps: $99
- Necks and bodies: $35
- Pedals, pickups, and accessories: $19
- Standard Series and 16 Series Martins: free shipping
The $99 and $119 rates are based on the order total, not the price of a single instrument.
Checkout shipping is available within the U.S. For Canada or international orders, contact us for a quote before purchasing.
Oversized or High-Cost Shipments
Very large boxes, certain long-distance destinations, and high-value instruments can occasionally cost substantially more to ship safely and insure properly.
If the actual carrier cost exceeds our listed flat rate by 10% or more, we may contact you before shipping to discuss the difference.
We will never charge additional shipping without your approval.

How We Ship
Every guitar is inspected and packed by hand before it leaves the shop.
Used instruments receive a fresh setup before shipping.
We use UPS, FedEx, or USPS depending on the shipment and destination. Packages are insured to their declared value, and orders over $150 require a signature on delivery.
If Your Order Arrives Damaged
If a package arrives damaged, stop and take photos before removing or discarding anything.
We need photos of:
- The outside of the box. Photograph every side, including any crushing, punctures, tears, or other visible damage.
- The packing inside the box. Photograph how the item was packed before removing the instrument or packing material.
- The damaged item. Take clear photos of every affected area.
Email the photos to info@paulsguitarhideout.com within 48 hours of delivery, along with a short description of the damage.
Please keep the box and all packing material until the claim is resolved.
Complete documentation is important because missing packaging or photos can make a carrier damage claim difficult or impossible to complete.
Once we have what we need, we'll handle the claim from our end as quickly as possible.
If Your Order Is Lost in Transit
If tracking shows delivered but the package is missing, or if tracking stops moving for several days, contact us as soon as possible.

Please contact us within 48 hours of noticing the issue so we have the best chance of opening a carrier investigation or claim promptly.
Paul's Guitar Hideout is located at The Shirt Factory in Glens Falls, NY. Use the Cooper Street entrance and take the stairs up. If stairs are difficult or you're bringing in something you don't want to carry up, call or text us and we'll arrange access.
