Paul's Guitar Hideout is 30 minutes up I-87 from Saratoga Springs, exit 18 in Glens Falls. Guitars used and new, repair and setups, and lessons, all in the same room. Walk-ins welcome.
Where We Are
We're on the second floor of The Shirt Factory in Glens Falls, one of the more interesting buildings in the region. It's a converted 19th century textile mill that's become a hub for artists, makers, craftspeople, and independent businesses. Painters, photographers, woodworkers, jewelers, and now a guitar shop. The building has a creative energy that fits what we do. Use the Cooper Street entrance and take the stairs up. If you need assistance, give us a call and we'll come down.
What's in the Shop
Saratoga has a real music scene — Caffè Lena, SPAC, Putnam Place, the Parting Glass — and the players in it tend to know what they're looking for. That's who makes the drive up. The used wall is picked on purpose: first guitars, player-grade workhorses, and the occasional serious vintage piece. New, we're an Authorized Fender and Martin dealer. Repairs and Setups
Guitar repair and setups happen here in the shop: fret work, electronics, nut and tuner replacement, pickup installation. A standard setup is $79, done to your preferences. Service is first come, first served. Need it back by a certain date? Let us know at drop-off and we'll do our best to accommodate. Track season flips Saratoga over every August, and we notice it up here too: fewer of the regulars from down south, more visitors with a travel guitar that took a knock on the trip.
