From the Wall: The Platinum Pro EQ

The Platinum Pro EQ is the box between an acoustic pickup and a PA. Fishman built it around a 17-volt discrete Class A preamp, a five-band EQ with a sweepable mid and an adjustable low cut, two EQ voicings, one for full-range instruments and one for bass, a one-knob compressor, a sweepable notch filter and a phase switch for feedback, a tuner, and a balanced XLR D.I. out. It runs about 30 hours on a 9-volt battery, not included, or on Fishman's 910R adapter.

Where We Are

We're on the second floor of The Shirt Factory in Glens Falls, one of the more interesting buildings in the region. It's a converted 1902 shirt mill that's become a hub for artists, makers, craftspeople, and independent businesses. Painters, photographers, woodworkers, jewelers, and now a guitar shop. The building has a creative energy that fits what we do. Use the Cooper Street entrance and take the stairs up. If stairs are difficult or you're bringing in something you don't want to carry up, call or text us and we'll arrange access.

The Drive

Saratoga is the big neighbor to the south: the track, SPAC and Broadway, a resort city for two hundred years and still growing, with the Northway running right alongside it.
