Where We Are

We're on the second floor of The Shirt Factory in Glens Falls, one of the more interesting buildings in the region. It's a converted 19th century textile mill that's become a hub for artists, makers, craftspeople, and independent businesses. Painters, photographers, woodworkers, jewelers, and now a guitar shop. The building has a creative energy that fits what we do. Use the Cooper Street entrance and take the stairs up. If you need assistance, give us a call and we'll come down.

How It Works

Bring the guitar in, we look at it together, the problem gets explained, you get a flat number before anything starts. No surprise charges. If something shifts mid-repair, you hear about it before we keep going. Not sure if it's worth repairing? How to know if a guitar is worth repairing.

Setups

Standard setup is $79. Specialty setups (Floyd Rose, 12-string, classical) are $99. A setup covers truss rod, action at the nut and saddle, intonation, fretboard conditioning, and fresh strings.

Repair Work

Fret leveling and dressing, refrets, nut and saddle work, tuner replacement, electronics (pickup swaps, wiring, pot and jack replacement), bridge reglue on acoustics, crack repair and stabilization. Common diagnosis questions: what is fret buzz and how to fix it, why won't my guitar stay in tune.
