Paul's Guitar Hideout is about 20 minutes south of Warrensburg on I-87, in Glens Falls. Authorized Fender and Martin dealer, used guitars across electrics, acoustics, and basses, repairs and setups, and lessons under one roof. No appointment needed.
Twenty minutes south, Exit 23 to Exit 18. The World's Largest Garage Sale takes over Main Street the first weekend of October — this year it's October 2–4 — and every year a few guitars come out of it needing strings, a setup, or a nut. Bring it down; we're on the way home.
Where We Are
We're on the second floor of The Shirt Factory in Glens Falls, one of the more interesting buildings in the region. It's a converted 1902 shirt mill that's become a hub for artists, makers, craftspeople, and independent businesses. Painters, photographers, woodworkers, jewelers, and now a guitar shop. The building has a creative energy that fits what we do. Use the Cooper Street entrance and take the stairs up. If stairs are difficult or you're bringing in something you don't want to carry up, call or text us and we'll arrange access.
What's Here
Used inventory rotates: Fender, Gibson, Martin, Yamaha, Squier, and more across electrics, acoustics, and basses. New Fender and Martin as an authorized dealer for both. Strings, picks, cables, capos, and humidifiers on the wall.
Call ahead if you're making the drive for something specific. We'd rather tell you it's not on the floor before you leave Warrensburg. Before you buy used: used guitar buying checklist.
Repairs and Setups
We do guitar repair and setups in-house. Fret work, electronics, nut and saddle replacement, tuner swaps, pickup installation, structural work on acoustics. Standard setup is $79, specialty (Floyd Rose, 12-string, classical) is $99. Our repair work is documented publicly in the Repair Vault. Service is first come, first served. Need it back by a certain date? Let us know at drop-off and we'll do our best to accommodate.
