From the Wall: The BD-2W Blues Driver

The Blues Driver is the Boss overdrive that responds to the pick and the volume knob the way an amp does, from a clean push to a rough crunch, and the BD-2W is that pedal on an all-discrete analog circuit. Standard mode is the classic BD-2. Custom mode adds body and sustain, the fatter setting for single-coils that want more low end under the drive. Level, tone and gain, 18 mA on a battery or a PSA adapter.

We're on the second floor of The Shirt Factory in Glens Falls, one of the more interesting buildings in the region. It's a converted 1902 shirt mill that's become a hub for artists, makers, craftspeople, and independent businesses. Painters, photographers, woodworkers, jewelers, and now a guitar shop. The building has a creative energy that fits what we do. Use the Cooper Street entrance and take the stairs up. The Drive

Washington County is the farm county next door to the east, long and narrow, running down the Vermont line from Lake Champlain to the Batten Kill, with the county seat in Fort Edward.

Cross the river from Hudson Falls or Fort Edward and you're here in about 5 minutes. Park in the Cooper Street lot at The Shirt Factory.
