MXR Cables

Dunlop warrants MXR cables to the original owner for the life of the cable, and the wall has instrument, patch and speaker cables. Instrument cables in 20 feet and 10 feet in the Pro Series, the heavier build, and the Standard Series in 10 feet, all oxygen-free copper with a spiral shield and a PVC jacket, wound to a capacitance that keeps a guitar's top end over the run. Patch cables from 1 foot to 3 feet, with flat right-angle plugs. And a 6-foot heavy-duty speaker cable, which is a different thing from an instrument cable.

We're on the second floor of The Shirt Factory in Glens Falls, one of the more interesting buildings in the region. It's a converted 1902 shirt mill that's become a hub for artists, makers, craftspeople, and independent businesses. Painters, photographers, woodworkers, jewelers, and now a guitar shop. The building has a creative energy that fits what we do. Use the Cooper Street entrance and take the stairs up. If stairs are difficult or you're bringing in something you don't want to carry up, call or text us and we'll arrange access.

The Drive

Washington County is the farm county next door to the east, long and narrow, running down the Vermont line from Lake Champlain to the Batten Kill, with the county seat in Fort Edward.

Cross the river from Hudson Falls or Fort Edward and you're here in about 5 minutes. Park in the Cooper Street lot at The Shirt Factory.
