Two Channels, One Amp

The reason a duo can play through one Loudbox Artist is that each of its two channels is complete: a mic input and an instrument input, a three-band EQ, and its own effects. Guitar on one channel, vocal or a second guitar on the other, and a channel mute silences both at once between songs. Fishman rates the Artist at 120 watts, an 8-inch woofer with a 1-inch neodymium tweeter, and 25 pounds.

Where We Are

We're on the second floor of The Shirt Factory in Glens Falls, one of the more interesting buildings in the region. It's a converted 1902 shirt mill that's become a hub for artists, makers, craftspeople, and independent businesses. Painters, photographers, woodworkers, jewelers, and now a guitar shop. The building has a creative energy that fits what we do. Use the Cooper Street entrance and take the stairs up. If stairs are difficult or you're bringing in something you don't want to carry up, call or text us and we'll arrange access.

The Drive

Washington County is the farm county next door to the east, long and narrow, running down the Vermont line from Lake Champlain to the Batten Kill, with the county seat in Fort Edward.

Cross the river from Hudson Falls or Fort Edward and you're here in about 5 minutes. Park in the Cooper Street lot at The Shirt Factory.
