Fender Guitars Near Washington County, NY

Paul's Guitar Hideout is an authorized Fender dealer just across the Hudson from Washington County, in Glens Falls. We regularly stock the Fender Player II and Vintera III lineups and the Squier range.

Three Squier tiers on the wall: Sonic for a first electric, Affinity a step up, Classic Vibe at the top. On the Fender side, Fender Standard alongside Player II and Vintera III. Fender acoustics too: CD-60 and CC-60 dreadnought and concert models, a CN-60 nylon-string, and an acoustic bass.

The county line is the Hudson. Cross at Fort Edward or Hudson Falls and you're in Glens Falls in ten minutes; from Greenwich or Cambridge it's closer to thirty.

One we carry is the Fender Standard Stratocaster. Poplar body, maple neck with a maple fingerboard, Standard Single-Coil Strat (N/M/B), 25.5" (648 mm) scale, Modern "C" neck shape.

Granville's quarries have cut slate in green, purple, gray and red since the 1850s.

The Drive

Washington County is the farm county next door to the east, long and narrow, running down the Vermont line from Lake Champlain to the Batten Kill, with the county seat in Fort Edward.

Cross the river from Hudson Falls or Fort Edward and you're here in about 5 minutes. Park in the Cooper Street lot at The Shirt Factory.

Squier Affinity

Squier Affinity is the step up from a first guitar: a thin, lightweight body, a slim "C" neck, a 2-point tremolo, and sealed die-cast tuners that hold pitch. Where We Are

We're on the second floor of The Shirt Factory in Glens Falls. The building went up in 1902 as a men's shirt factory and made shirts until 1996. Today it's home to more than 70 studios, shops and galleries, and now a guitar shop. Use the Cooper Street entrance and take the stairs up. If stairs are difficult or you're bringing in something you don't want to carry up, call or text us and we'll arrange access.

Squier vs. Fender

Authorized Dealer

We're an authorized Fender dealer, so a new Fender or Squier bought here carries Fender's two-year limited warranty for the original buyer. Keep the receipt.

Setup

New guitars come set to the manufacturer's factory spec. If you want a full $79 setup to your preferences before you take the guitar home, we can do that. Service is first come, first served. Need it back by a certain date? Let us know at drop-off and we'll do our best to accommodate.
