ON ORDER: expected early January.
The Kingman Bass CE is an acoustic bass you can plug in: a Fishman CD-1 preamp with a built-in tuner, a cutaway and a 30 inch scale. Fender gives it a solid Sitka spruce top over laminated mahogany back and sides, with scalloped X bracing.
The acoustic bass body gives a deep, resonant low end that stays clear, and the cutaway leaves the upper register open for melodic lines. Slim C mahogany neck, 9.5 inch radius walnut board, 20 frets, Micarta nut and saddle.
Honey Sunburst with a 1-ply tortoiseshell pickguard. New from Fender.
