Where We Are

We're on the second floor of The Shirt Factory in Glens Falls, one of the more interesting buildings in the region. It's a converted 19th century textile mill that's become a hub for artists, makers, craftspeople, and independent businesses. Painters, photographers, woodworkers, jewelers, and now a guitar shop. The building has a creative energy that fits what we do. Use the Cooper Street entrance and take the stairs up. If you need assistance, give us a call and we'll come down.

What We Stock

Player II and Vintera III. Full Squier lineup (Classic Vibe, Affinity, Contemporary).

Player II

We regularly stock Player II Stratocasters and Telecasters — built to real Fender specs, with quality pickups, smooth satin necks, and hardware that holds up. The gap between a Player II and an American Professional II is real (the Americans have premium fretwork, rolled fingerboard edges, nicer pickups), but the gap is often smaller than the price difference.

Vintera III

Vintera III chases vintage-spec voicings — Strats, Teles, Jazzmasters built with period-correct pickups, finishes, and hardware. Play a Player II next to a Vintera III and the difference is audible.

Squier

Classic Vibes are good guitars. The gap from Squier Affinity to Classic Vibe is larger than the gap from Classic Vibe to Player II. For a first electric or a second guitar for alternate tunings, the Classic Vibe '50s Strat or '60s Tele is often the right call at half the price of a Player II. More: Squier vs. Fender — what the price difference actually gets you.

Setup at Intake

Factory setups are close but not final. Most new Fenders need truss rod and intonation attention before they play to spec. That happens at intake. If a guitar arrives with a defect, it goes back to Fender. If you want a full $79 setup to your exact preferences after purchase, we do that too.

Used Fender Inventory

Used Fenders come through the shop regularly. American Standards from the '90s and 2000s, Strats and Teles from every era, Jazz and Precision basses. The full Fender collection includes both new and used inventory sorted low to high. For vintage Fender buyers: how to tell if a vintage Fender's pickups are original.
