The Standard is the Fender-branded Strat below the Player II, on the layout the model has had since 1954: three pickups, a five-way switch, a spring tremolo. The Standard ceramic single-coils are wound hotter than the vintage-voiced sets, and the 2-point bridge with block saddles is the modern setup, not the six-screw vintage one.
Poplar body in gloss Candy Cola, maple neck in the Modern C with a satin back, maple fingerboard, 9.5 inch radius, 21 medium jumbo frets, 1.6875 inch nut, 25.5 inch scale, sealed tuners, strung .009 to .042.
