A Boss TU-3W Chromatic Tuner, Waza Craft, made in Japan. The TU-3 tuner, 21-segment meter, High Brightness mode, chromatic and guitar/bass modes, Accu-Pitch sign, mute on engage, with a switch for buffered or true bypass and a refined buffer circuit for the cleanest pass-through Boss makes. A bypass jack doubles as an unmuted output and signal splitter, and a DC out jack powers other pedals through the optional PCS-20A cable. On a 9V battery or a PSA adapter.
The difference from the standard TU-3 is the output switch. In buffer mode it is a premium buffer at the head of the board; in true bypass mode it is out of the signal path entirely, for players who run a buffer elsewhere or none at all.
