Fender Guitars in the Adirondacks
Paul's Guitar Hideout in Glens Falls is an authorized Fender dealer at the southern gateway to the Adirondack region. Players come in from Lake George, Warrensburg, Chestertown, Bolton Landing, Schroon Lake, Ticonderoga, and points further north.
Glens Falls has called itself the Gateway to the Adirondacks for a century, and it still is: Exit 18 is the last real town before the park. Anyone coming down 87 from Schroon Lake, Chestertown, or North Creek passes us on the way to anything else.

Where We Are
We're on the second floor of The Shirt Factory in Glens Falls, one of the more interesting buildings in the region. It's a converted 1902 shirt mill that's become a hub for artists, makers, craftspeople, and independent businesses. Painters, photographers, woodworkers, jewelers, and now a guitar shop. The building has a creative energy that fits what we do. Use the Cooper Street entrance and take the stairs up. If stairs are difficult or you're bringing in something you don't want to carry up, call or text us and we'll arrange access.
What's on the Wall
We regularly stock Player II Stratocasters and Telecasters. Vintera III for vintage-spec voicings. Jazzmasters, Jaguars, and Mustangs come through regularly. Standard and Vintera III Precision and Jazz basses. Squier Classic Vibe and Affinity across the range.

Cabin Electrics
Electric guitars handle Adirondack conditions far better than acoustics. Temperature swings affect tuning and can loosen hardware, but the structural damage a dry winter does to an acoustic doesn't happen to a solidbody electric. A cabin Fender needs a once-a-year setup when you bring it down.
Setup
Every new Fender goes through intake before going on the floor. If you want a full setup to your specific preferences (string gauge, action, relief), we can do it before you take it home. $79 standard. For Adirondack customers making the drive, pairing the trip with a setup drop-off is often worth it.
Upgrading From a Squier
If you've been playing a Squier for a while and want to step up: the gap from Affinity to Classic Vibe is bigger than the gap from Classic Vibe to Player II. What the price difference actually gets you.
