From the Wall: The DM-2W

Bucket-brigade delay is the warm, darkening repeat that digital delays imitate, and the DM-2 defined it. The DM-2W is the all-analog reissue of the DM-2, discontinued in 1984, with two modes: Standard is that pedal, 20 to 300 ms; Custom runs the same chip cleaner and longer, up to 800 ms, for a usable dotted-eighth with the analog character. Repeat rate, intensity and echo knobs, a direct out so the dry and delayed signals can go to separate amps, and a TRS jack for an expression pedal.

Where We Are

We're on the second floor of The Shirt Factory in Glens Falls, one of the more interesting buildings in the region. It's a converted 1902 shirt mill that's become a hub for artists, makers, craftspeople, and independent businesses. Painters, photographers, woodworkers, jewelers, and now a guitar shop. The building has a creative energy that fits what we do. Use the Cooper Street entrance and take the stairs up. If stairs are difficult or you're bringing in something you don't want to carry up, call or text us and we'll arrange access.

The Drive

The Adirondacks start at the top of Queensbury: six million acres, the largest park in the contiguous United States, a hundred-odd towns and villages inside it, and Glens Falls is the city in the foothills at the bottom.

Glens Falls is the foothills. From Lake George about 15 minutes, Warrensburg about 20, Bolton Landing about 30, Chestertown about 35. I-87 Exit 18, then the Cooper Street lot at The Shirt Factory.
