The Amp That Rides Along

At 9.1 pounds the Loudbox Micro is the Loudbox that fits in the car with everything else. Fishman put a 40-watt bi-amplified pair of drivers in a sealed cabinet, a 5.25-inch woofer and a soft dome tweeter, and gave it an instrument channel and a microphone channel, reverb and chorus, a headphone output for quiet practice, and a balanced XLR out for the day it has to feed a board.

Where We Are

We're on the second floor of The Shirt Factory in Glens Falls, one of the more interesting buildings in the region. It's a converted 1902 shirt mill that's become a hub for artists, makers, craftspeople, and independent businesses. Painters, photographers, woodworkers, jewelers, and now a guitar shop. The building has a creative energy that fits what we do. Use the Cooper Street entrance and take the stairs up. If stairs are difficult or you're bringing in something you don't want to carry up, call or text us and we'll arrange access.

The Drive

The Adirondacks start at the top of Queensbury: six million acres, the largest park in the contiguous United States, a hundred-odd towns and villages inside it, and Glens Falls is the city in the foothills at the bottom.

Glens Falls is the foothills. From Lake George about 15 minutes, Warrensburg about 20, Bolton Landing about 30, Chestertown about 35. I-87 Exit 18, then the Cooper Street lot at The Shirt Factory.
