The Jazz III

The Jazz III is the small, sharp-tipped pick with the molded quick-release edge that a long list of fast players has settled on: the small profile keeps the hand close to the strings, and the sharp tip lets the note off cleanly. It's a pick for single notes and precision more than for strumming. Red nylon at 1.38 mm is the warmer of the two nylons; the Jazz III variety pack puts six materials and two sizes of the same shape in one sleeve.

Where We Are

We're on the second floor of The Shirt Factory in Glens Falls, one of the more interesting buildings in the region. It's a converted 1902 shirt mill that's become a hub for artists, makers, craftspeople, and independent businesses. Painters, photographers, woodworkers, jewelers, and now a guitar shop. The building has a creative energy that fits what we do. Use the Cooper Street entrance and take the stairs up. If stairs are difficult or you're bringing in something you don't want to carry up, call or text us and we'll arrange access.

The Drive

Wilton is the town north of Saratoga where the shopping is: the mall and the big stores off Exit 15, Route 9 and the Northway running parallel, and a lot of newer neighborhoods on the flat ground along the river.

About 20 minutes north on I-87, Exit 16 to Exit 18. Park in the Cooper Street lot at The Shirt Factory.
