Why the Neo-D Needs No Battery

A magnetic soundhole pickup hears the strings, not the body, the way an electric guitar's pickup does. The Neo-D is a passive, high-impedance pickup on a neodymium magnet structure, the same idea as Fishman's Rare Earth pickup at a lower price, so it plugs straight into an amp or a preamp with nothing to charge.

Where We Are

We're on the second floor of The Shirt Factory in Glens Falls, one of the more interesting buildings in the region. It's a converted 1902 shirt mill that's become a hub for artists, makers, craftspeople, and independent businesses. Painters, photographers, woodworkers, jewelers, and now a guitar shop. The building has a creative energy that fits what we do. Use the Cooper Street entrance and take the stairs up. If stairs are difficult or you're bringing in something you don't want to carry up, call or text us and we'll arrange access.

The Drive

Wilton is the town north of Saratoga where the shopping is: the mall and the big stores off Exit 15, Route 9 and the Northway running parallel, and a lot of newer neighborhoods on the flat ground along the river.

About 20 minutes north on I-87, Exit 16 to Exit 18. Park in the Cooper Street lot at The Shirt Factory.
