Northway north, Exit 16 to Exit 18, about twenty minutes. No stoplights until you're in Glens Falls.

One we carry is the Fender CD-140SCE Dreadnought Cutaway. Solid spruce top with laminated ovankol back and sides body, Mahogany neck with a walnut fingerboard, 25.3" (643 mm) scale, Fender 'Easy-to-Play' shape with rolled fretboard edges neck shape.

From Grant Cottage on Mount McGregor you can see Lake George, Vermont, Saratoga, and Albany.

The Drive

Wilton is the town north of Saratoga where the shopping is: the mall and the big stores off Exit 15, Route 9 and the Northway running parallel, and a lot of newer neighborhoods on the flat ground along the river.

About 20 minutes north on I-87, Exit 16 to Exit 18. Park in the Cooper Street lot at The Shirt Factory.

Player II

If you're choosing between Player II and something cheaper, the neck is the difference Fender points to: rolled fingerboard edges, a silky satin back, and medium jumbo frets on a 9.5-inch radius. Everything here right now is listed under Fender guitars in stock. Want every Fender line we carry, with prices? That's on our Fender guitars in Glens Falls page.

Where We Are

We're on the second floor of The Shirt Factory in Glens Falls. The building went up in 1902 as a men's shirt factory and made shirts until 1996. Today it's home to more than 70 studios, shops and galleries, and now a guitar shop. Use the Cooper Street entrance and take the stairs up. If stairs are difficult or you're bringing in something you don't want to carry up, call or text us and we'll arrange access.

What's on the Wall

Inside Paul's Guitar Hideout in Glens Falls, NY: acoustic guitars on the upper rows, electric guitars and basses below, and amps along the floor

On the wall as of October 25, 2026: Squier Mini, Squier Sonic, Squier Affinity, Squier Classic Vibe, Fender Standard, Player II, Vintera III and Fender acoustics, 34 new Fender and Squier guitars from $199.99 to $1,249.99, and 8 new basses. Squier vs. Fender

The gap from Squier Affinity to Classic Vibe is bigger than the gap from Classic Vibe to Player II. For a first electric, a Classic Vibe is usually the right call. For more on what the money buys, read Squier vs. Fender.

Authorized Dealer

We're an authorized Fender dealer, so a new Fender or Squier bought here carries Fender's two-year limited warranty for the original buyer. Keep the receipt.

All the areas we serve

The Player II versus Vintera III question is answered in a chair, not a spec sheet. Player II is the modern take: flatter radius, tighter tuning stability, ready for anything. Vintera III chases specific decades, with necks and pickups voiced to the era. Both hang here, which is the point of driving up.
