Feedback Control on the Platinum Pro

The two feedback tools on the Platinum Pro EQ are a sweepable notch filter, which you tune to the one frequency that howls and pull down, and a phase switch, which flips the signal's polarity against the room. Fishman pairs them with a five-band EQ that has a sweepable mid and an adjustable low cut, and a one-knob compressor that catches the peaks from percussive playing before they reach the board.

Where We Are

We're on the second floor of The Shirt Factory in Glens Falls, one of the more interesting buildings in the region. It's a converted 1902 shirt mill that's become a hub for artists, makers, craftspeople, and independent businesses. Painters, photographers, woodworkers, jewelers, and now a guitar shop. The building has a creative energy that fits what we do. Use the Cooper Street entrance and take the stairs up. If stairs are difficult or you're bringing in something you don't want to carry up, call or text us and we'll arrange access.

The Drive

Ballston Spa is the county seat, a small Victorian village five miles south of Saratoga with a downtown you walk: the courthouse crowd on weekdays, the shops and galleries and antique stores the rest of the time.

About 35 minutes: Route 50 or Route 9 to I-87 north, Exit 18. Park in the Cooper Street lot at The Shirt Factory.
