Delay or Overdrive First

The two MXR pedals on the wall are a delay and an overdrive. The Carbon Copy is the analog delay, repeats that darken as they fade, up to 600 ms, with a modulation switch. The Duke of Tone is the low-gain overdrive that leaves the guitar and the amp sounding like themselves, with a switch for Boost, Overdrive and Distortion. One takes a battery; the Duke doesn't.

Where We Are

We're on the second floor of The Shirt Factory in Glens Falls, one of the more interesting buildings in the region. It's a converted 1902 shirt mill that's become a hub for artists, makers, craftspeople, and independent businesses. Painters, photographers, woodworkers, jewelers, and now a guitar shop. The building has a creative energy that fits what we do. Use the Cooper Street entrance and take the stairs up. If stairs are difficult or you're bringing in something you don't want to carry up, call or text us and we'll arrange access.

The Drive

Bolton Landing is a lake town inside the park, on the west shore of Lake George with the Schroon River on the far side of the town, the kind of place families have been coming back to for two hundred years.

About 30 minutes: 9N down the lake to Lake George village, then Route 9 or I-87 south to Glens Falls. Park in the Cooper Street lot at The Shirt Factory.
