Tele or Strat
The Quarter Pound Tele set and the Quarter Pound Strat set share the quarter-inch alnico 5 pole pieces and the extra output; what differs is the guitar. The Tele set's rhythm pickup fills chords with a strong midrange and its lead pickup growls like a P-90. The Strat set is three calibrated pickups with a reverse-wound middle, so positions 2 and 4 cancel hum. Either one gives a single-coil guitar more output.

Where We Are
We're on the second floor of The Shirt Factory in Glens Falls, one of the more interesting buildings in the region. It's a converted 1902 shirt mill that's become a hub for artists, makers, craftspeople, and independent businesses. Painters, photographers, woodworkers, jewelers, and now a guitar shop. The building has a creative energy that fits what we do. Use the Cooper Street entrance and take the stairs up. If stairs are difficult or you're bringing in something you don't want to carry up, call or text us and we'll arrange access.
The Drive
Bolton Landing is a lake town inside the park, on the west shore of Lake George with the Schroon River on the far side of the town, the kind of place families have been coming back to for two hundred years.
About 30 minutes: 9N down the lake to Lake George village, then Route 9 or I-87 south to Glens Falls. Park in the Cooper Street lot at The Shirt Factory.
