Three Squier tiers on the wall: Sonic for a first electric, Affinity a step up, Classic Vibe at the top. On the Fender side, Fender Standard alongside Player II and Vintera III. Fender acoustics too: CD-60 and CC-60 dreadnought and concert models, a CN-60 nylon-string, and an acoustic bass.

9N down the west side of the lake to the village, then 87 south, about thirty minutes. Bolton is a summer town, and a guitar left in an unheated lake house over the winter comes out in spring with sharp fret ends and a dry top. Bring it down before it goes back up.
One we carry is the Fender Vintera III Early '60s Custom Telecaster. Alder body, maple neck with a round-laminated rosewood fingerboard, Vintage-Style 1963 Single-Coil Tele (N/B), 25.5" (648 mm) scale, Early '60s "C" neck shape.
The Sembrich in Bolton Landing, built in 1922–24 as opera singer Marcella Sembrich's teaching studio, is on the National Register of Historic Places.
The Drive
Bolton Landing is a lake town inside the park, on the west shore of Lake George with the Schroon River on the far side of the town, the kind of place families have been coming back to for two hundred years.
About 30 minutes: 9N down the lake to Lake George village, then Route 9 or I-87 south to Glens Falls. Park in the Cooper Street lot at The Shirt Factory.
The Acoustasonic
Fender built the Acoustasonic to cover acoustic and electric in one guitar. The Standard Telecaster version has a solid Sitka spruce top, a chambered body, and a blend knob between the voices, with the familiar Tele feel. Everything here right now is listed under Fender acoustics in stock. Want every Fender line we carry, with prices? That's on our Fender guitars in Glens Falls page.

Squier vs. Fender
The gap from Squier Affinity to Classic Vibe is bigger than the gap from Classic Vibe to Player II. For a first electric, a Classic Vibe is usually the right call. For more on what the money buys, read Squier vs. Fender.

We're an authorized Fender dealer, so a new Fender or Squier bought here carries Fender's two-year limited warranty for the original buyer. Keep the receipt.
