Route 149 west from Granville, Route 4 south from Whitehall, about forty minutes either way. There hasn't been a guitar shop on that side of the county in years; both roads come into Glens Falls from the east, and we're the first shop either one reaches.
Where We Are
We're on the second floor of The Shirt Factory in Glens Falls, one of the more interesting buildings in the region. It's a converted 1902 shirt mill that's become a hub for artists, makers, craftspeople, and independent businesses. Painters, photographers, woodworkers, jewelers, and now a guitar shop. The building has a creative energy that fits what we do. Use the Cooper Street entrance and take the stairs up. If stairs are difficult or you're bringing in something you don't want to carry up, call or text us and we'll arrange access.
What a Setup Includes
Truss rod to correct relief. Nut slots checked and filed if high. Saddle action dialed to your preference. Intonation verified at the 12th fret. Fretboard conditioned when it's dry. Fresh strings installed. More on what a setup covers and why: what a guitar setup includes and why it matters.
Service is first come, first served. Need it back by a certain date? Let us know at drop-off and we'll do our best to accommodate.
Standard vs. Specialty
Standard, $79: Most electrics, most acoustics, most basses. Full setup, fresh strings.
Specialty, $99: Floyd Rose and other double-locking tremolos, 12-strings, classicals. The extra covers the additional setup time these instruments need.

The Drive
From Granville, Route 149 west to Glens Falls, about 40 minutes. From Whitehall, Route 4 south, about the same. Park in the Cooper Street lot at The Shirt Factory. Drop-off takes a few minutes. We look at the guitar with you and confirm standard or specialty.
