Fender Guitars Near Granville and Whitehall, NY

Paul's Guitar Hideout is an authorized Fender dealer about 40 minutes west of Granville and Whitehall, in Glens Falls. We regularly stock the Fender Player II and Vintera III lineups and the Squier range.

Three Squier tiers on the wall: Sonic for a first electric, Affinity a step up, Classic Vibe at the top. On the Fender side, Fender Standard alongside Player II and Vintera III. Fender acoustics too: CD-60 and CC-60 dreadnought and concert models, a CN-60 nylon-string, and an acoustic bass.

Route 149 west from Granville, Route 4 south from Whitehall, about forty minutes either way. There hasn't been a guitar shop on that side of the county in years; both roads come into Glens Falls from the east, and we're the first shop either one reaches.

One we carry is the Fender Player II Stratocaster. Chambered ash body, maple neck with a slab rosewood fingerboard, Alnico 5 single-coil pickups in the neck, middle and bridge, 25.5" (648 mm) scale, Modern "C" neck shape.

Whitehall earned its birthplace-of-the-Navy title from the fleet Benedict Arnold built there in 1776.

The Drive

Granville and Whitehall are the far side of Washington County, up against Vermont: Granville is slate country, quarries and a Main Street that turns into a Vermont road at the edge of the village, and Whitehall is the canal town at the bottom of Lake Champlain.

From Granville, Route 149 west to Glens Falls, about 40 minutes. From Whitehall, Route 4 south, about the same. Park in the Cooper Street lot at The Shirt Factory.

Where We Are

We're on the second floor of The Shirt Factory in Glens Falls. The building went up in 1902 as a men's shirt factory and made shirts until 1996. Today it's home to more than 70 studios, shops and galleries, and now a guitar shop. Use the Cooper Street entrance and take the stairs up. If stairs are difficult or you're bringing in something you don't want to carry up, call or text us and we'll arrange access.

Squier vs. Fender

We're an authorized Fender dealer, so a new Fender or Squier bought here carries Fender's two-year limited warranty for the original buyer. Keep the receipt.

Setup

New guitars come set to the manufacturer's factory spec. If you want a full $79 setup to your preferences before you take the guitar home, we can do that. Service is first come, first served. Need it back by a certain date? Let us know at drop-off and we'll do our best to accommodate.
