Paul's Guitar Hideout is an authorized Fender dealer 10 minutes south of Lake George, down Route 9 past Prospect Mountain in Glens Falls. We stock the Fender Player II, Vintera III, and the Squier lineup.

Three Squier tiers on the wall: Sonic for a first electric, Affinity a step up, Classic Vibe at the top. On the Fender side, Standard Series alongside Player II and Vintera III. Fender acoustics too: CD-60 and CC-60 dreadnought and concert models, a CN-60 nylon-string, and an acoustic bass.

Where We Are

We're on the second floor of The Shirt Factory in Glens Falls, one of the more interesting buildings in the region. It's a converted 1902 shirt mill that's become a hub for artists, makers, craftspeople, and independent businesses. Painters, photographers, woodworkers, jewelers, and now a guitar shop. The building has a creative energy that fits what we do. Use the Cooper Street entrance and take the stairs up. If stairs are difficult or you're bringing in something you don't want to carry up, call or text us and we'll arrange access.

What's on the Wall

We regularly stock Player II Stratocasters and Telecasters. Vintera III for vintage-spec voicings. Jazzmasters, Jaguars, and Mustangs come through regularly. Player II and Player Plus basses. Squier Classic Vibe and Affinity across the range.

Camp Storage

Electrics handle seasonal humidity swings at Lake George better than acoustics do. A camp electric left on a stand through an unheated winter will be out of tune, possibly showing corrosion on strings and bridge hardware, maybe needing truss rod attention.
