The Drive

South Glens Falls is the village straight across the Hudson from Glens Falls, wrapped inside the Town of Moreau, where Route 9 and Route 32 come together on the Saratoga County side of the river.

Cross the Route 9 bridge into Glens Falls and you're about 5 minutes away. Park in the Cooper Street lot at The Shirt Factory. Drop-off takes a few minutes. We look at the guitar with you and confirm standard or specialty.

From Our Setup Work: Schecter (Pink): Loose Jack and a Setup for 10s

What came in: A pink Schecter. The owner wanted 10s in place of 9s and a setup to match. What we found: The output jack was loose. What we did: Tightened the jack and cleaned the guitar up. Where We Are

We're on the second floor of The Shirt Factory in Glens Falls. The building went up in 1902 as a men's shirt factory and made shirts until 1996. Today it's home to more than 70 studios, shops and galleries, and now a guitar shop. Use the Cooper Street entrance and take the stairs up. If stairs are difficult or you're bringing in something you don't want to carry up, call or text us and we'll arrange access.

What a Setup Includes

Standard, Deluxe, or Specialty

Standard, $79: Most electrics, most acoustics, most basses. Full setup; strings are extra.

Deluxe, $109: Everything in the standard plus headstock-to-strap-button detailing, all hardware tightened and lubricated, and the fretboard cleaned and conditioned. The one we usually recommend.

Specialty, $99: Floyd Rose and other double-locking tremolos, 12-strings, classicals. The extra covers the additional setup time these instruments need.
