The Boss TU-3 has been the stage tuner since 2009: the 21-segment meter reads from across a stage, the housing survives, and the output mutes so you tune in silence. Chromatic and guitar/bass modes with flat tunings, a High Brightness mode for outdoor stages, an Accu-Pitch sign when the note lands, and a DC out that powers other pedals from one adapter. Its buffer at the front of a board is the second job it does.

A tuner can't fix intonation: if the fretted note at the twelfth fret reads sharp or flat against the open string, the saddle is the fix. On an electric that's part of a standard setup, $79, strings extra. Service is first come, first served.

Where We Are

We're on the second floor of The Shirt Factory in Glens Falls, one of the more interesting buildings in the region. It's a converted 1902 shirt mill that's become a hub for artists, makers, craftspeople, and independent businesses. Painters, photographers, woodworkers, jewelers, and now a guitar shop. The building has a creative energy that fits what we do. Use the Cooper Street entrance and take the stairs up.
