From the Wall: The DS-1

The DS-1 is the first distortion most people buy and the top-selling Boss compact ever made, on the same circuit since 1978. It's a hard-edged distortion rather than a fuzz: the attack stays clear at full gain, the guitar's volume knob cleans it up without turning muddy, and it doesn't hide what pickups are under it. Tone, level and distortion knobs, 10 mA on a 9-volt battery or a PSA adapter, and the same price as the SD-1.

It's a converted 1902 shirt mill that's become a hub for artists, makers, craftspeople, and independent businesses. Painters, photographers, woodworkers, jewelers, and now a guitar shop. The building has a creative energy that fits what we do. Use the Cooper Street entrance and take the stairs up.
