Fender Guitars Near Queensbury, NY

Paul's Guitar Hideout is an authorized Fender dealer 10 minutes down Route 9 from Queensbury, in Glens Falls. We stock the Fender Player II Series and Vintera III lineups and the Squier range.

Three Squier tiers on the wall: Sonic for a first electric, Affinity a step up, Classic Vibe at the top. On the Fender side, Fender Standard alongside Player II and Vintera III. Fender acoustics too: CD-60 and CC-60 dreadnought and concert models, a CN-60 nylon-string, and an acoustic bass.

Queensbury wraps around Glens Falls on three sides, so for most of it we're closer than the mall. Route 9 at the Aviation Road light, past the mall, and you're at the Shirt Factory in about ten minutes.

Where We Are

We're on the second floor of The Shirt Factory in Glens Falls. The building went up in 1902 as a men's shirt factory and made shirts until 1996. Today it's home to more than 70 studios, shops and galleries, and now a guitar shop. Use the Cooper Street entrance and take the stairs up. If stairs are difficult or you're bringing in something you don't want to carry up, call or text us and we'll arrange access.

Queensbury is a suburb of Glens Falls and one of the last bastions of commerce and population before the Adirondacks.

Squier Classic Vibe

Classic Vibe is the top of the Squier line, built to look and sound like the Fenders that started it: Fender-designed alnico single-coil pickups, a 9.5-inch-radius fingerboard with narrow-tall frets, and a vintage-tint gloss neck on models like the Strat. Everything here right now is listed under Squier guitars in stock. Want every Fender line we carry, with prices? That's on our Fender guitars in Glens Falls page.

Is a Squier Classic Vibe Enough?

Worth saying directly: Classic Vibes are good guitars. The gap from a Squier Affinity to a Classic Vibe is larger than the gap from a Classic Vibe to a Player II. For a first electric, a Classic Vibe '50s Strat is often the right call. For more on what the price difference actually gets you, read Squier vs. Fender.

Trade-In

If you have an older guitar to put toward a new one, bring it in. We evaluate it in person and apply credit toward the new purchase. See the trade page.

Setup

New guitars come set to the manufacturer's factory spec. If you want a full $79 setup to your preferences before taking the guitar home, we can do that.
