The Atreides is a single-note instrument: chords smear, single lines turn into synth lead and bass sounds. It is an analog, monophonic synth-style effect inspired by a 1980 mini synthesizer, and the sliders are meant to be moved while playing.

Sliders for a growling sub-octave, a vocal envelope filter, a phase sweep and a fuzz, all layered and shaped by how hard the strings are hit. True bypass, 9 mA draw on 9V from a battery or a center-negative adapter, with an internal switch that drops the sub-octave one or two octaves down.

New from Way Huge.

Controls: VOL, SENS, RANGE, BRIGHT, FUZZ, RATE, SUB sliders; internal sub-octave switch (1 or 2 octaves down) and phaser feedback trim
Bypass: True bypass
Inputs and outputs: Input, output (1/4"); 5.5 x 2.1 mm center-negative power jack
Power: 9V DC: 9-volt battery, Dunlop ECB003 adapter or a DC Brick / Iso-Brick supply
Current draw: 9 mA
Built-in effects: Sub-octave, envelope filter, phaser and fuzz, monophonic
Output: Input impedance 1 MΩ; output impedance < 100 Ω
