What Came In
A Godin electric. The owner wanted to move from 9s to 10s and have the guitar set up for the heavier strings.
What We Found
The electronics were scratchy and needed cleaning. After the change to 10s the truss rod, saddle height, intonation and pickup height all needed adjusting.
What We Did
Cleaned the electronics. Adjusted the truss rod and saddle height, set the intonation for the new gauge, and brought the pickups to the correct height. About 50 minutes on the bench.

Are scratchy pots a sign of failure?
Usually not. On this guitar, and on most that come in scratchy, the noise is dirt in the pots and switch, and a cleaning brings them back. Replacement is for pots that stay noisy after cleaning or have gone intermittent.
