Fishman builds five Loudbox acoustic amps, from the 40-watt Micro to the 180-watt Performer, and the room you play decides which one is yours: the Micro for practice and recording, the Mini for a coffeehouse or a rehearsal with a vocal mic, the Artist for a stage with a band. Fishman lists the battery-powered Mini Charge at $549.95 and the Performer at $999.95, and we can order either one. An amp ships for $49 in the U.S., and pickup at the shop is free.

The Loudbox Line in 2026
Fishman's Loudbox page lists five amps as of September 25, 2026. Fishman positions the Micro as the practice and recording amp, the Mini as the singer-songwriter amp for moderate-volume gigs and rehearsals, the Mini Charge as the Mini with an internal rechargeable battery, the Artist as the professional standard for high-volume performances, and the Performer as its flagship and loudest Loudbox, with a separate midrange driver and a kickstand. Guitar and a vocal mic at the same time with separate EQ is the reason to pick any of them over a guitar amp.

Fishman Loudbox Micro

The Loudbox Micro is the smallest Loudbox and the one for practice and recording: 40 watts, a sealed cabinet with a 5.25 inch woofer and a soft-dome tweeter, and a balanced XLR out that goes straight to a board or an interface. Just over nine pounds. See the Loudbox Micro.
Fishman Loudbox Mini BT

The Loudbox Mini is the singer-songwriter's amp: 60 watts, a 6.5 inch woofer and a 1 inch tweeter, enough for a coffeehouse or a rehearsal, and light enough to carry in one hand at about 21 pounds. BT is the Bluetooth version, which makes it the break-music speaker between sets. Fishman rates it at 108 dB at one meter, and says most players never push its master volume past halfway in a coffee shop or restaurant. See the Loudbox Mini BT.
Fishman Loudbox Artist BT

The Loudbox Artist is the one for a full-band stage: 120 watts, an 8 inch woofer and a neodymium tweeter, and two complete channels so a duo, or a guitar and a vocal, each get their own feedback tools and their own XLR to the house. What Goes With It
The rest of the Fishman wall goes between the guitar and the amp.
- Padded covers: the Micro at $44.95, the Mini and Mini Charge at $54.95 (one cover fits both) and the Artist at $64.95. 1680-denier ballistic nylon, foam padding, a jersey lining and a zipper pocket for the cord. The padding is for the trunk and the load-in.
- Loudbox Dual Foot Switch, $89.95: for the Artist and the current brown Performer only. This is the set-break switch: mute the guitar and vocal with one foot while the break music keeps going through the aux. It does not fit the Micro or the Mini.
- Platinum Pro EQ, $359.95, and AFX Pro EQ Mini, $129.95: you don't need a preamp for the amp itself. It earns its place when the signal goes straight to a PA: the Platinum Pro EQ adds the balanced XLR out, the notch filter and the EQ a board doesn't give you. The AFX Pro EQ Mini is the preamp and EQ half of that, four bands plus a sweepable low cut, and it needs a 9-volt adapter, sold separately.
- Neo-D Humbucking, $109.95: for the guitar with no pickup. It clamps into a soundhole as small as 3-7/8 inches, plugs straight in, and runs passive with no battery.

- Practice and recording at home: the Loudbox Micro. 40 watts, a headphone output, and the XLR out straight into an interface.
- A coffeehouse or a rehearsal with a vocal mic: the Loudbox Mini BT. 60 watts, two channels, and Bluetooth for the break music.
- A stage with a band: the Loudbox Artist BT. 120 watts, two complete channels with their own XLR to the house, and the footswitch.
- Playing where there is no outlet: the Loudbox Mini Charge, which we can order. The Mini on an internal battery, rated by Fishman at 18 hours at low volume and 4 at full, with a 10-hour charge from the wall charger it comes with.

No cover and no footswitch, on any of them. The covers and the Dual Foot Switch are sold separately. The Mini Charge comes with its wall charger.

Does a Loudbox from here carry Fishman's warranty?
Yes. Fishman covers the original buyer for one year, parts and labor, in the U.S. Keep the receipt.

Living With a Loudbox
A LAG acoustic-electric came through the bench with a rattle inside the body; the rattle was the interior washer on the output jack, and tightening the jack nut ended it (the Repair Vault entry). On that one the jack was the answer, but that is one case, not a rule. Something rattling inside your acoustic? Bring it in; finding it is the job. An under-saddle Fishman system with an endpin jack is an install job, and we quote it once we've seen the guitar.
A padded cover is more than a dust cover: the padding takes the knocks of a car trunk and the pocket keeps the cord with the amp. If you order the Mini Charge, its battery is sealed lead acid, and Fishman's spec sheet says to charge it when it is not in use.
Forced-air heat in a Glens Falls winter can drop indoor humidity fast, and that's when tops sink and fret ends sharpen; the longer version is in how humidity affects your guitar.
