The JC-120 is the original Jazz Chorus, Roland's flagship since 1975 and the amp the JC clean sound comes from. That clean is transparent, which is why players who build their sound with pedals, a multi-effects unit, a modeler or a guitar synth use it to hear exactly what their gear is doing.
It's a 120-watt stereo amp driving two 12-inch speakers, and its Dimensional Space Chorus, the effect that introduced chorus to the world, runs in true stereo. Roland gives it two channels, Normal and Effect, each with three-band EQ and a bright switch, and the Effect channel adds vibrato, distortion and a spring reverb, each switchable from an optional footswitch. Around back: a stereo effects loop, series or parallel, and stereo line outs. It rides on casters, with corner brackets and edge protectors for the road. About 63 pounds.

Questions
Can I run stereo effects through it?
Yes, through the effects loop. The send is mono and the return is stereo, L/Mono and R, so a stereo effects unit in the loop plays through both speakers.
Does it have a headphone jack?
No. The rear panel has stereo line outs, L/Mono and R, for a mixing board or a recorder.
Which footswitch does it take?
A Boss FS-5L, FS-6 or FS-7, sold separately. The footswitch jacks turn chorus/vibrato, reverb and distortion on and off.
