The CUBE-10GX is a 10-watt Roland combo with a custom 8-inch speaker, sized for practice at home, jamming with friends and recording. It comes set up with three COSM amp types, Clean, Crunch and Lead, chosen with one button on the top panel.
Those three slots can be reloaded from a phone or tablet through the free CUBE KIT app for iOS and Android, from a list that runs from jazz cleans to high-gain metal and includes types voiced for bass and acoustic-electric guitar. Roland puts Bass, Middle and Treble on the panel, plus one Effect knob for chorus, delay, or plate or spring reverb. Around back: an aux input for playing along with a phone or music player, and a Rec Out/Phones jack that mutes the speaker and sends the modeled sound, speaker simulation included, to headphones or a recorder. It runs on the included AC adaptor. About 10 pounds 6 ounces.

Questions
Can I practice on headphones?
Yes. The Rec Out/Phones jack (stereo 1/8-inch mini) mutes the speaker and carries the modeled sound with speaker simulation, so it also works as a direct out for recording.
Can I play along with songs from my phone?
Yes, through the Aux In jack, a stereo 1/8-inch mini input on the back panel.
Can I change the amp sounds?
Yes. It ships with Clean, Crunch and Lead COSM amp types, and each of the three slots can be replaced with another amp type through Roland's free CUBE KIT app for iOS and Android.
