This is the third version of the Afterneath, EarthQuaker Devices' Enhanced Otherworldly Reverberator, the one with the small Mode knob and the EXP jack. It builds its reverb from a swarm of short digital delays, so it goes from big, cavernous reverbs to scattered, short rhythmic delays.
Length sets how long the reverb lasts, Diffuse runs from sharp, stuttering early reflections to a smooth wash, and Dampen sets how bright or dark it sounds. Drag pulls the delay lines apart, from a reverb clockwise to a scattered ping-pong delay counterclockwise. Reflect is the feedback and will self-oscillate set high, and Mix turns the dry signal down as you raise it. Mode picks one of nine ways Drag responds, from smooth sweeps to steps locked to musical scales, and the LED changes color to show which. The EXP jack on the right side puts Drag under an expression pedal or 0 to 5 volt CV. Bypass is buffered with EQD's Flexi-Switch, tap to latch or hold for momentary, and trails are on from the factory. Both jacks and the power jack sit on the knob end. It needs power to pass sound and runs on a 9-volt center-negative supply at 100 mA.
Black with the white cave artwork. Mint condition, shown in the photos. Comes with the original box and the cloth bag.
