Boss BD-2 - Blues Driver
Ships nationwide. Local pickup at the shop is free. Full shipping policy →
The BD-2 is the Boss overdrive made to sound and react like a tube amp starting to break up. It's a Boss compact pedal with three knobs, Level, Tone and Gain, and it runs on a 9V battery or a Boss PSA adapter.
It follows how you play. A lighter pick attack gets less drive and digging in gets more, and rolling back the guitar's volume knob cleans the sound up while the pedal stays on. With the gain low it's a mild crunch; turned up, it gets thicker and into a warm distortion.
