What Came In

A sunburst Squier Stratocaster with a black pickguard, in for a cleanup, a setup and an electronics check.

What We Found

The guitar was dirty and so were the electronics. It needed the full setup: everything on it wanted cleaning and adjusting.

What We Did

Cleaned the guitar and the electronics and conditioned the fretboard. Adjusted the tremolo mounting screws and the trem springs. Adjusted the truss rod and filed the nut slots. Set the saddle height and intonation, then the pickup height. About an hour and twenty minutes on the bench.

Result

Much cleaner, and it played nicely.
