What Came In
A red Ibanez hollowbody. The owner wanted 10s in place of 9s, a cleanup and a setup to match.
What We Found
Going to 10s meant the truss rod, bridge height and intonation all needed adjusting, and the guitar needed a cleanup.
What We Did
Changed the strings from 9s to 10s. Adjusted the truss rod for the new tension, set the bridge height and dialed in the intonation. Adjusted the pickup height. About 40 minutes on the bench.
Result
The pickups sound great and it plays smooth, in Dave's words.
