The Starcaster was Fender's semi-hollow of the 1970s, an offset body with two f-holes, a bolt-on maple neck, and a pair of Wide Range humbuckers, and this Classic Vibe follows that layout. Laminated maple body bound in cream, two Fender Wide-Range humbuckers, a volume and a tone for each, a 3-way toggle, adjustable bridge with a stop tailpiece.
Maple neck and maple fingerboard, 22 narrow tall frets, 9.5 inch radius, 25.5 inch scale. The painted headstock contour and the 1970s markings are from the original.
