HT is hardtail: a 6-saddle string-through-body bridge with bent steel saddles in place of the tremolo, an option Fender first offered on the Stratocaster in 1955. No springs to balance, and it stays in tune.
Three Fender-Designed alnico single-coils, a 5-way switch, master volume and two tones, poplar body, maple neck with a vintage-tint gloss, maple fingerboard, 21 narrow tall frets, 9.5 inch radius, bone nut, nickel hardware, 1950s headstock markings.
