Martin LX1E - Little Martin Series - Mahogany Pattern

The Martin LX1E is the Little Martin: a travel-sized acoustic-electric built around the Modified 0 body, smaller than any full-size Martin and made for the player who needs a real guitar that goes anywhere. Backpacking trips, hotel rooms, beach campfires, couch practice; the LX1E was designed for guitars that don't stay in stands. Solid Sitka spruce top over mahogany-pattern HPL back and sides, Rust Birch laminate neck with the Modified Low Oval profile, Richlite fingerboard and bridge, short 23" scale, onboard Fishman Presys VT electronics.

HPL construction shrugs off temperature and humidity swings that would damage a solid-wood guitar — the LX1E lives in trunks, overhead bins, and humid cabins without complaint. The shorter scale and smaller body make it the easiest Martin to pick up for kids, beginners, or anyone with smaller hands.
