The Martin 000C Jr-E StreetMaster is the cutaway Junior Series: solid sapele top, back, and sides in a 000-size body with a Venetian cutaway, finished in Martin's distressed satin StreetMaster look — the road-worn finish that looks like a guitar broken in over a decade. Scalloped spruce X-bracing for resonance and projection, 24.9" short scale with the Performing Artist neck profile, gently beveled fingerboard edge, Martin E1 electronics with built-in tuner.
Solid sapele is the upgrade over the X Series HPL lines: warmer mids, punchier lows, a guitar that opens up the more you play it. The cutaway gets you to the high frets for lead lines and fingerstyle work, and the StreetMaster finish is the closest thing to a vintage-aged Martin without paying for an aged Martin. A real working acoustic-electric in the Junior Series price range.
