marshall-gv-2-guvnor-plus-silver
Marshall GV-2 Guv'nor Plus - Silver

This is the GV-2 Guv'nor Plus, Marshall's update of the original Guv'nor from the '80s, with a wider gain range and a Deep control. Gain and Volume have their own knobs; Bass and Deep share a stacked knob, and so do Treble and Mid. The input is on the right side and the output on the left.

Gain runs from vintage-amp breakup through JCM800-style rock to modern high-gain. Deep adds a tight, resonant low end, modeled on the Deep circuit in Marshall's JCM2000 amps. Mid down with the Gain up gets the scooped metal sound, and the Volume goes louder than the original Guv'nor's, enough to push an amp's input. It runs on a 9-volt battery under a coin-screw cover or a 9-volt adapter, center negative.

Silver. Fair condition, shown in the photos.
