The footswitch is the whole rubber-topped front, and the 9-volt battery sits under it: push one of the pins on the sides in with a cable plug and it lifts off. Turn Repeats past 3 o'clock and the repeats keep going until you stop them. Hold the footswitch for three seconds for tap tempo, and the Time knob then picks eighth, dotted eighth or quarter notes. With Tails on, the repeats fade out after you switch it off. With Tails off they stop, and the bypass is true hardwire. It runs mono from Input 1 to Output 1, or true stereo with both pairs of jacks.
